About Course

The Instrumentation Engineering Training Programme is designed to provide students with specialised knowledge and practical skills in the field of industrial instrumentation and process control. With a strong focus on oil and gas operations, the programme trains students in the principles, design, installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation systems that ensure the safe and efficient functioning of industrial processes.

Through hands-on training in advanced laboratories, simulation-based exercises, and real-world case studies, participants will acquire the competence to manage process automation systems, troubleshoot instrumentation challenges, and apply industry standards to critical oil and gas operations.

What Will You Learn?

  • Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
  • Read, interpret, and design piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation systems for temperature, pressure, flow, and level measurements.
  • Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and integrate them with process instruments.
  • Perform control valve calibration, tuning, and maintenance to ensure process reliability.
  • Apply instrumentation loop diagrams to commissioning, fault detection, and maintenance tasks.
  • Demonstrate industry-standard practices for instrumentation in oil and gas facilities.
